Liner notes

Films shaped me more than any classroom did. They gave me my taste, my sense of story, and most of what I believe in. So I keep my work the way I keep films: numbered, in order, each with its story on the back.

I led title and brand marketing for STAGE’s Haryanvi market. That meant building how a series or film gets launched, whatever its budget, and making sure marketing actually moved the P&L.

A chain of backpacker hostels. A marketing team of one.

I joined goStops as the only person in marketing and ran everything: acquisition, retention, the website, SEO, influencers, and campaigns on and off the ground. The work also gave the founders a clearer read on parts of the business.

I started Geekify in Chandigarh right after college. I built a team of full-time staff and freelancers, and we ran performance marketing for hospitals, colleges and a political party.

Lines of courage, in Hindi, with subtitles.

A living collection of the Hindi lines I keep going back to, mostly from Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s Rashmirathi, with Vajpayee, Bachchan, Dwivedi and Bismil alongside. Each one in Devanagari, with an English translation on hover.

During the first lockdown, filmmaker Satyanshu Singh ran free cinema lectures, and the only fee was a donation to COVID-19 relief. I handled marketing automation and the website.
